Please Mr. Postman by The Carpenters

Hello fellers! I just received a letter in the mail, dated February 2012, from some filly called “Peggy Lou”? It says that she wants me to dedicate “Please Mr. Postman” by The Beatles to some feller called “The Honky Tonk Mailman”. Well, I’m not playing any thing that involves Ringo Starr right now, let me tell you. But, although this may be a tad late, here’s “The Carpenters” version of the song instead here on THE MACKER!

Gypsys Tramps And Thieves by Cher

Stroker’s Theme by The Charlie Daniels Band

You know this song reminds me of the time when WWCR’s RJ Reynolds (I guess he must be Burt’s nephew?) mentioned, around the time I worked on the radio progrem “THE WHACKER”, that that fine filly from WWWF called Sunny haunted him in a dream by saying “Some days are Smokey and the Bandit, and some days are Stroker Ace”. I’m not sure I quite understand that particular reference there either? But I guess today must be “Stoker Ace” because here’s The Charlie Daniels Band with “Stroker’s Theme”, here on THE MACKER!
