The Candy Man by Sammy Davis Jr.

While I know that Halloween Hootenanny is over, I just wanted to tell you fellers about this spooky “urban legend” that my daughter told me regarding this song. I’m not sure if I’m telling it correctly, but apparently if you sing “The Candy Man” in front of the mirror three times, Sammy Davis Jr. comes back from the dead and pokes out your eye??? But I don’t quite get that particular reference due one major flaw in that story…I didn’t even know he was sick?
