It’s Not Easy Bein’ Green by Kermit T. Frog

Mike Check: Weelll, ole Mike is on Mars but now broadcasting from…The Slammer! A place that I’m not a stranger to back on Earth, but for some reason Kimar is still allowing me to host this radio program along with Checkdar.

Checkdar: I am confused as to why I have to be with you in the Brig? It was you that committed the crime?

Mike Check: Crime? But it was an accident there feller. Jimdar’s wife tricked me into pleasuring her antennae there? You know there feller, ole Mike’s been kidnapped, forced to live here against my own will, and then tricked into doing things I didn’t want to do—

Checkdar: Yes, Mike Check. I do understand your plight. I also feel that the other Martians do not respect me either. They always tell me to keep quiet when I want to say something. They all treat me like I’m a “stupid human”…oh, my apologies Mike Check, “stupid human” is a popular expression to describe an imbecile…like me.

Mike Check: Weell don’t worry about it. And don’t get yourself down Checkdar. I don’t think that you’re stupid? You have been the nicest Martian I’ve met since I’ve been here. Maybe Kimar is Okay, although he’s a bit of a square.

Checkdar: Why, I am grateful for those words, Mike Check. But Kimar, a square? But he is not such shape?

Mike Check: No…nether-mind, but the point I’m trying to make is…I forget…But, uh? I guess “It’s Not Easy Bein’ Green”?

Checkdar: Exactly.

Mike Check: No. I was just thinking about that song by Kermit T. Frog.

Checkdar: Who is this Frog? Wait, but I thought that the animals on Earth do not talk? How is it possible for an amphibian to sing?

Mike Check: Uh? Kermit is just a children’s puppet.

Checkdar: Oh? A puppet? I knew that…uh, why don’t we play it here on “THE MACKET”?

Mike Check: That’s “MACK-ER”.

Checkdar: Oh.
