The French Song by Joan Jett and The Blackhearts
Did I ever tell you fellers about the time I worked in the French Canadian market at the radio station CTWA: “The Trois”. I was going under the name Jacques Swinger, my partners were Pierre and Danielle Swinger, we were “Le club de Swinger”. It was a threesome where we mostly played “swing” music. Pierre and Danielle were husband and wife (which explains why a woman was allowed to work at this station I’m guessing?) and it used to make me quite uncomfortable whenever Danielle would flirt with me in front of her husband. Well he didn’t seem to mind anyway because he flirted with me also. Strange feller?
But anyway, after the show one night, they invited me to their house for dinner and asked if I was interested in a “menage a trois” for “desert”? I told them that I wasn’t interested because ole Mike was a fitness fanatic at the time and I was watching my diet. My daughter now tells me that I misunderstood that particular reference because they were not in fact talking about food, apparently. But I don’t understand how that type of thing is performed without two women involved anyway? And ole Mike can’t tell you ‘those stories’ on here, let me tell you, but I can play this song about it by “Joan Jett and The Blackhearts” here on The Macker!
